Global Medical Positioning/ Wound Care Pillow Testimonial

"I am writing a letter which includes both my opinion and impression of the Global Medical Positioning/ Wound Care Pillow. 

It is my understanding that this pillow was developed for an oncology patient, who had thirteen tumors on his spinal cord and who was in a great deal of pain and thus there were problems positioning him. The original purpose for designing this pillow was to help eliminate some pain by maintaining his position, as well as reducing pressure points.

Normally, this is a nursing problem and I would not get involved with something of this nature. After seeing the pillow, I came to realize that this product has multiple useful purposes. It maintains support of the ongoing problem in the positioning of patients. This pillow will also be of great assistance in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. Due to the design of this product, it is evident that it will give support and elevation without causing ischemic changes of the skin. This pillow has the ability to change the location of pressure points without causing breakdown.

After evaluating this pillow, I have personally used it on several occasions in nursing homes with good results. It has also been my experience that Global Medical supports this product with quality in services and support on the application of the pillow. I believe that this, coupled with the merit of this product, will bring positive results.
