The GMF Dual Density Impact Reduction Bedside Mat aids in the reduction of impact injuries sustained in bedside falls in medical facilities. It is made for use on vinyl composition flooring. With only a 5/8" thickness, beveled edges, and being flexible and light, the mat is very low profile and is easier to handle than traditional athletic type bedside mats. Tapered Fall Mat with Luminescent Strips

The Conforming Comfort® Tapered Fall Mat features foam padding to offer protection against fall-related injuries as well as tapered sides. The entire bottom of the mat is made of a non-slip surface to ensure stability, and allows staff to tell top from bottom for infection control purposes. The mat is covered with a durable, wipe clean vinyl material. There are luminescent strips placed across all 4 sides that stay lit for 8 hours after 30 seconds of natural or artificial light. The mat also folds in half for easy storage and has a handle for easy pickup and transportation. Available in 1", 2", and 4" height.
